Moyá[1][2] es una localidad y municipio español, capital de la comarca del Moyanés, en la provincia de Barcelona, comunidad autónoma de Cataluña. Cuenta con una población de 6474 habitantes .
El término municipal de Moyá está situado en el centro de la comarca del Moyanés. La vegetación dominante es el pino rojo , gran variedad de setas, la encina, el quejigo y el roble enano , también se encuentran hayas. En este sentido destaca el paraje llamado Sauva Negra, un hayedo residual de 2,5 km² situado entre los 750 y los 950 msnm.
