Cortelazor es un municipio español de la provincia de Huelva, Andalucía. Su gentilicio es cortelazoreño o cortelazoreña, aunque vulgarmente se les conoce como zorros. En el año 2016 contaba con 302 habitantes. Su extensión superficial es de 40 km² y tiene una densidad de 7,5 hab/km². Sus coordenadas geográficas son 37º 56' N, 6º 37' O. Se encuentra situada a una altitud de 624 metros, siendo la altitud máxima del término la correspondiente al monte de "El Palancar" con sus 782 metros, siendo la ribera de Huelva la zona más baja con una altitud ligeramente inferior a los 400 metros. Este pueblo está a 120 kilómetros de la capital de provincia, Huelva y a 100 kilómetros de la capital de la Comunidad Autónoma, Sevilla.
