Agaete es un municipio español perteneciente a la provincia de Las Palmas, en la isla de Gran Canaria —Canarias, España—.[2]
Dentro del término municipal destacan su cabecera —el casco de Agaete propiamente dicho—, el puerto de Las Nieves –comunicado regularmente por ferry con la isla de Tenerife– y Los Berrazales barranco arriba –con una exuberante vegetación–. En esta última zona, al pie del pinar de Tamadaba, se levanta un antiguo y abandonado hotel rural.
