Medina de Rioseco es un municipio y localidad española de la provincia de Valladolid, en la comunidad autónoma de Castilla y León. Cuenta con una población de 4550 habitantes . Perteneciente a la comarca de Tierra de Campos, posee los títulos honoríficos de muy noble y muy leal, así como el de ciudad, y es conocida también por los sobrenombres de la Ciudad de los Almirantes y la Vieja India Chica. Por el término municipal discurre el río Sequillo. La localidad se encuentra situada en el Camino de Santiago de Madrid.
