Bajo Pallars [1][2] es un municipio español, el más meridional de la comarca catalana del Pallars Sobirá, limítrofe con las del Pallars Jussá y Alto Urgel, en la provincia de Lérida. Se formó en 1969 por la fusión de los términos municipales de Baén, Gerri de la Sal, Montcortés y Peramea.[nota 1]
