Barcelona-Sants o simplemente Sants es la principal estación de ferrocarril de la ciudad de Barcelona. Fue inaugurada en 1979 tras unas largas obras que se acordaron al final de la década de los 60. Es la segunda estación de España, tras la de Madrid-Atocha con un volumen de viajeros cercano a los 30 millones anuales de los cuales algo más de 18 millones se corresponden con el tráfico de cercanías.[2]
