La Iglesia de Santa María de la Alhambra se completó a principios del siglo XVII. Se encuentra en los terrenos de la Gran Mezquita.
Con planta de cruz latina y capillas laterales, destacan el retablo barroco con grandes columnas de Salomón de 1671, la Crucifixión y las grandes estatuas de las santas Úrsula y Susana de Alonso de Mena.
Su patrona es la famosa imagen de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores de Torcuato Ruiz del Peral, realizada entre 1750 y 1760, que es llevada en procesión desde este templo durante la Semana Santa hasta uno de los tronos más bellos de Granada con los arcos del Patio dels Leones en relieve.
