El col del Ballon de Alsacia es un paso del macizo de los Vosgos, entre el departamento de Vosgos y el Territorio de Belfort. Debe su nombre al Ballon de Alsacia, el pico más alto del Territorio de Belfort, que lo contorne por el oeste.
La carretera que conecta el valle de Mosela al norte con los valles de Savoureuse al sur y el de Doller al este atraviesa un paso cercano a la cima, a una altitud de 1,174 metros; la cima, por su parte, está a solo 1,248 metros.
