Blauvac se encuentra en lo alto de una colina. Desde aquí se tiene vista a los Monts de Vaucluse al sur y al norte al Mont Ventoux.
La parroquia de Blauvac fue fundada en 1273. Como las casas estaban inicialmente muy dispersas, eran un objetivo fácil para los saqueadores. Por ello, en el siglo XIV se construyó un castillo alrededor del cual se agrupó el pueblo. El castillo actual data del siglo XV, pero fue completamente reconstruido en 1552. Era una fortaleza cuadrada con cuatro torres en las esquinas que se conservaron hasta finales del siglo XIX. De las cuatro torres, solo queda una.
La iglesia parroquial está dedicada a San Sebastián. Además, pasamos por dos capillas: Notre Dame des Neiges en el descenso y abajo en el valle, Saint-Estève.
Seguimos la carretera a través del pueblo. Después del pueblo, hay una bajada sinuosa. Al final de la bajada, llegamos a una carretera principal.
