Vence es una población y comuna francesa, en la región de Provenza-Alpes-Costa Azul, departamento de Alpes Marítimos, en el distrito de Grasse y el cantón de Vence.
Vence es famosa por ser la cuna de artistas, escultores y pintores. El autor inglés D. H. Lawrence falleció en Vence, en marzo de 1930. Sus restos fueron exhumados más tarde y transportados a un rancho en Nuevo México. También la empresaria y bailarina rusa Ida Rubinstein vivió y falleció en Vence. Elise y Célestin Freinet construyeron en Vence entre 1934 y 1935 una escuela experimental de referencia donde aplicaron sus técnicas pedagógicas.
