La ciudad de Sault está situada en un espolón rocoso del 'plateau de Vaucluse' y domina el valle del Nesque. Es el punto de partida ideal para excursiones y paseos a Mont Ventoux, las Gorges de la Nesque, el Valle del Toulourenc, el plateau de Albion, el Lubéron y otras áreas naturales cercanas en la Drôme Provençal y los Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
