En el emplazamiento de Montalon, los cinco molinos del siglo XVIII, hoy desprovistos de sus alas, son el único recuerdo de los molineros que fueron durante mucho tiempo los "señores" de estos lugares. Tienen la particularidad de estar situados en el punto más alto del Cubzaguais (73 metros). Un magnífico panorama se extiende desde la colina de Fronsac hasta las Côtes de Blaye, pasando por Burdeos. Al pie del Moulin de Montalon, una estela indica el grado 45 de latitud norte, que es la misma distancia entre el Polo Norte y el Ecuador.
