Sul sito di Montalon, i cinque mulini a vento del XVIII secolo, oggi privati delle loro ali, sono gli unici ricordi dei mugnai che furono a lungo i "signori" di questi luoghi. Hanno la particolarità di essere situati sul punto più alto del Cubzaguais (73 metri). Un magnifico panorama si estende dalla collinetta di Fronsac alle Côtes de Blaye, passando per Bordeaux. Ai piedi del Moulin de Montalon, una stele indica il 45° grado di latitudine nord, che corrisponde alla distanza tra il Polo Nord e l'Equatore.
