El campo de golf municipal de Brive Planchetorte está situado en un hermoso paraje cerca del centro de la ciudad, del nudo de autopistas A20/A89, del lago Causse y del aeropuerto de Brive-Vallée de la Dordogne. Los bosques circundantes del valle del Planchetorte y el apacible fluir del arroyo "Planchetorte" que atraviesa toda la longitud del campo de golf proporcionan una suave tranquilidad al paseo tanto como contribuyen a la dificultad y al placer del juego. Es un recorrido variado, donde no hay dos hoyos iguales sino que cada uno tiene su particularidad, hoyo 13 con su green enclavado entre el arroyo y la gruta, hoyo 6 entre el estanque, los robles y el arroyo... 18 hoyos par 72.
