Este parque, probablemente diseñado para M. Olivié, industrial bordelés que instaló una cristalería en 1815, conserva la residencia que mandó construir y varios árboles notables que datan probablemente de los orígenes del jardín (una secuoya, un tulipero de Virginia de 1889, una sophora llorona, etc.). Otras especies han sido resembradas, como un alcornoque (especie autóctona). Actualmente propiedad del municipio, la finca, que incluía también el emplazamiento de la antigua fábrica de vidrio y sus alrededores, le fue legada en 1975 por su última propietaria, Madame Lecoq.
Hoy en día, el Parque Lecoq sigue siendo uno de los lugares favoritos de los boineses para pasear, hacer deporte, reunirse con los amigos en el skatepark o llevar a los más pequeños al parque infantil.
Cuando hace buen tiempo, el parque también acoge numerosos eventos al aire libre.
