Dit park, waarschijnlijk ontworpen voor M. Olivié, een industrieel uit Bordeaux die in 1815 een glasblazerij oprichtte, bevat nog steeds de woning die hij liet bouwen en enkele opmerkelijke bomen die waarschijnlijk dateren uit de oorsprong van de tuin (een sequoia, een tulpenboom uit Virginia uit 1889, een treur sophora, enz.) Andere soorten zijn opnieuw aangeplant, zoals een kurkeik (een inheemse soort). Het landgoed, dat ook het terrein van de voormalige glasblazerij en omgeving omvat, is nu eigendom van de gemeente en werd in 1975 door de laatste eigenares, Madame Lecoq, aan de gemeente gelegateerd.
Vandaag de dag is Parc Lecoq nog steeds een favoriete plek voor Boïenen om te wandelen, te sporten, vrienden te ontmoeten in het skatepark of met de kleintjes naar de speeltuin te gaan.
Bij mooi weer vinden er in het park ook een aantal openluchtevenementen plaats.
