Situada en lo alto de la colina Sainte-Croix, cuna de la ciudad, esta iglesia fue reconstruida en el siglo XIII sobre un edificio más antiguo, cuyos restos aún pueden verse en la cripta. Durante el periodo de la Primera Anexión alemana, la fachada y el campanario fueron modificados por el arquitecto Conrad Wahn. En el interior, una vidriera del siglo XII, la más antigua de Lorena, representa una escena de crucifixión.
