El priorato de Saint Arnoult es uno de los pocos ejemplos que quedan de edificios de madera y adobe de finales del siglo XV. La orientación oriental de la fachada y la técnica del doble ménsula han contribuido a la excelente conservación de la decoración tallada de los dinteles. La calidad y finura de la escultura demuestran que es más obra de un artista que de un ejecutor.
