Lisieux, capital del Pays d'Auge, ha conservado su arquitectura y numerosos lugares que dan testimonio de un pasado rico en historia, que se explica en el Museo de Arte e Historia de la ciudad.
Lugar de gran espiritualidad gracias a Santa Teresa, se puede visitar la Basílica que fue una de las mayores iglesias construidas en el siglo XX, el Diorama, un museo de cera dedicado a Santa Teresa, el Carmelo que contiene su tumba y los Buissonnets, la casa de la infancia de Teresa Martín.
Pero Lisieux es también una ciudad verde gracias a varios jardines, un arboreto de 12 hectáreas y un centro de actividades de bicicleta de montaña con 20 circuitos en 450 km de senderos señalizados.
