Lisieux, capitale del Pays d'Auge, ha conservato la sua architettura e numerosi siti che testimoniano un passato ricco di storia, come spiega il Museo d'Arte e Storia della città.
Luogo di alta spiritualità grazie a Santa Teresa, è possibile visitare la Basilica, una delle più grandi chiese costruite nel XX secolo, il Diorama, un museo delle cere dedicato a Santa Teresa, il Carmelo che contiene la sua tomba e i Buissonnets, la casa d'infanzia di Teresa Martin.
Ma Lisieux è anche una città verde grazie a diversi giardini, un arboreto di 12 ettari e un centro di attività per mountain bike con 20 circuiti su 450 km di sentieri segnalati.
