Construida en los siglos XI y XII, la iglesia fue dotada más tarde de un poderoso campanario barlong. Renovada en el siglo XVI, fue fortificada con torres de vigilancia para convertirla en una puerta de ciudadela capaz de resistir a una tropa armada. La nave está acompañada de una nave lateral con bóveda de estrella y llaves forradas de cuerda.
