Las 250 hectáreas de lagos de la finca de Hostens tienen su origen en las excavaciones de una antigua mina a cielo abierto. Su exploración, siguiendo senderos señalizados, le llevará de la marisma al estanque, de modestas masas de agua a vastos lagos. Este lugar, propiedad del Conseil Départemental de la Gironde, ha sido objeto recientemente de un importante programa de acondicionamiento para descubrir la naturaleza y relajarse. Ofrece multitud de actividades de ocio y al aire libre.
