El humedal del Moulin se extiende por 92 hectáreas y presenta una gran diversidad de entornos naturales. Praderas húmedas, sauces pantanosos, bosques antiguos, praderas calcáreas, estanques y cañaverales proporcionan un hábitat para una fauna y flora notables. El sitio alberga 82 especies de aves reproductoras, entre ellas especies protegidas. También se pueden observar aquí más de cien especies de plantas. El valor biológico y ecológico de esta zona está reconocido y está clasificada como reserva natural regional.
