Lescourroux es una gran masa de agua utilizada para el riego y está dividida en dos por la carretera. La parte norte, más pequeña y salvaje, es la cola del lago. La parte sur, sin embargo, ofrece excelentes condiciones de observación en otoño, durante la migración de las aves. Podemos observar todas las aves playeras de la región, con algunas especies raras como el correlimos gordo o el correlimos estrabón. Las águilas pescadoras y los charranes también son visitantes habituales.
En invierno, se pueden observar hermosos grupos de patos de superficie y buceadores cuando sube el nivel del agua. También podrá observar colimbos imberbe y ártico, esmerejón común durante la estación fría y negrón común.
En verano, se puede practicar piragüismo de pie en el lago.
