El Jardín del Rocher debe sin duda su encanto a su quiosco de música, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, donde en verano se celebran conciertos en el marco del festival Ville en Musiques.
Le Jardin du Rocher también cuenta con un estanque y una cancha de petanca.
La necesidad de naturaleza aumentó con la revolución industrial. Las ciudades se “ventilaron”: se demolieron barrios marginales, se trazaron bulevares y avenidas y se plantaron árboles para caminar y se crearon grandes parques y plazas públicas . Los jardines se convirtieron en una parte esencial de la planificación urbana.
