Pequeño municipio agrícola, Saint-Vincent-de-Jalmoutiers constituye una armoniosa transición entre el fértil valle del Rizonne y la meseta del Doble.
En el corazón geográfico de la Nouvelle Aquitaine, posee un patrimonio rico y variado. La iglesia románica del siglo XI, con su fachada de estilo Saintonge, forma parte del circuito de iglesias románicas del Val de Dronne.
También merece la pena visitar el pueblo de vacaciones y el Parc des Doublorigènes, donde las familias pueden disfrutar de una agradable estancia en una zona tranquila y arbolada, cerca de Saint-Aulaye.
