Saint-Vincent-de-Jalmoutiers is een kleine landbouwgemeente en vormt een harmonieuze overgang tussen de vruchtbare Rizonnevallei en het Dubbelplateau.
Het ligt in het geografische hart van de regio Nouvelle Aquitaine en kan bogen op een rijk en gevarieerd erfgoed. De 11e-eeuwse Romaanse kerk, met zijn Saintonge-achtige gevel, staat op het Romaanse kerkencircuit van Val de Dronne.
Ook een bezoek waard is het vakantiedorp en het Parc des Doublorigènes, waar gezinnen kunnen genieten van een aangenaam verblijf in een rustige omgeving beplant met bomen, vlakbij Saint-Aulaye.
