La marca "goes extra" fue creada en 1960 por el Sr. y la Sra. Arauzo. Hoy son sus dos hijos quienes han tomado el relevo de la empresa familiar fundando la SARL "la maison de l'espadrille".
Con sede en el suroeste de Francia, crean nuevas formas y modelos, trabajan con nuevos materiales como el cuero, y desarrollan el método "mecánico" conservando el tradicional e indispensable "cosido a mano". Cada año se producen más de 300.000 alpargatas clásicas y de fantasía.
