Het merk "goes extra" werd in 1960 opgericht door de heer en mevrouw Arauzo. Vandaag zijn het hun twee zonen die het familiebedrijf hebben overgenomen door de SARL "la maison de l'espadrille" op te richten.
Gevestigd in het zuidwesten van Frankrijk, creëren zij nieuwe vormen en modellen, werken met nieuwe materialen zoals leer en ontwikkelen de "mechanische" methode met behoud van de traditionele en onmisbare "handgenaaide" methode. Jaarlijks worden meer dan 300.000 klassieke en fantasievolle espadrilles geproduceerd.
