Desde el punto de vista religioso, Buchères era una rama de Verrières, Courgerennes de Saint-Léger y Villetard de Moussey. En el siglo XVII, Marie de Clerget aportó a Simon de Noël parte de los señoríos de Buchères, Courgerennes y Villetard que, en los siglos XIII y XIV, habían pertenecido a la casa de Saint-Fale. Iglesia neoclásica construida entre 1850 y 1853.
