Dal punto di vista religioso, Buchères era un ramo di Verrières, Courgerennes di Saint-Léger e Villetard di Moussey. Nel XVII secolo, Marie de Clerget cedette a Simon de Noël parte delle signorie di Buchères, Courgerennes e Villetard che, nel XIII e XIV secolo, erano appartenute alla casa di Saint-Fale. Chiesa neoclassica costruita tra il 1850 e il 1853.
