Los jardines del palacio episcopal se extienden a lo largo de 5 hectáreas en el corazón del barrio de la Cité. Las seis terrazas se dispusieron en las laderas del Puy Saint-Etienne cuando se construyó un nuevo palacio episcopal a finales del siglo XVIII. Adquirido por la ciudad en 1910, el complejo ha sido remodelado progresivamente. Los visitantes pueden descubrir un jardín formal, un vasto jardín botánico y una zona ecológica que muestra los entornos naturales del Lemosín. Las terrazas ofrecen una vista excepcional de las orillas del Vienne.
