Esta antigua residencia de Jean Galmot (periodista y aventurero de Montpazier, elegido diputado por la Guayana en 1919) fue comprada a su esposa por Pierre y Micheline Massé en 1953. El castillo data del siglo XIX y está construido íntegramente en piedra labrada. Dos alas utilizadas como bodegas y un granero forman un patio central, y se encuentra en el centro de una finca de 27 hectáreas. Pierre Massé era un apasionado de la arboricultura y plantó manzanos, perales y ciruelos. La viña era sólo una pequeña parte de la propiedad hasta que Francis tomó el relevo y convirtió los huertos en viñedos. Château Queyssard está plantado con Sauvignon Blanc y Semillon para los vinos blancos y Merlot, Cabernet Franc y Cabernet Sauvignon para los tintos y rosados.
