El Oberschloss, o Castillo Superior, es una hermosa casa burguesa construida por los barones austriacos, los Haindels, propietarios de Romanswiller. Construido a mediados del siglo XVIII, el castillo fue ocupado por la familia Cerf Berr durante unos diez años, y luego por otras familias, la última de las cuales fue Jacques Metzger. Creó una gran granja familiar que acogió a varias generaciones. La dependencia fue vendida a la Comuna en 2012.
