El valle del Erve es único al norte del Loira: zona protegida con la etiqueta Natura 2000 y clasificación medioambiental, alberga una flora y fauna excepcionales. Es el lugar perfecto para que los amantes de la naturaleza pasen un día lejos de todo.
La zona es también un lugar popular para eventos deportivos, con cursos de escalada y espeleología ofrecidos por asociaciones deportivas durante todo el año. Numerosas rutas de senderismo atraviesan el valle y conectan las vecinas Petites Cités de Caractère. Se organizan numerosas actividades para pasar un rato agradable en familia o entre amigos.
Las cuevas están abiertas del 16 de marzo al 14 de noviembre.
La cueva de la Margot está abierta a niños a partir de 3 años, mientras que la cueva de Rochefort está abierta a niños a partir de 6 años.
Las visitas a las cuevas abarcan diversos temas: geología, vida cotidiana en la prehistoria en la cueva de Rochefort y arte rupestre en la cueva Margot.
La reserva es obligatoria en el sitio de venta de entradas en línea.
