En el lado atlántico, Lacanau Océan es una estación de renombre con 15 km de arena fina y rodillos de olas muy populares entre los surfistas. Junto a ella, los bañistas disfrutan de la natación vigilada y del espectáculo permanente. Si se adentra en el vasto bosque, el amante del agua dulce preferirá Lacanau, en la orilla del lago. Con una superficie de 2000 hectáreas, es uno de los grandes lagos de las Landas. Un canal la une al lago de Carcans-Hourtin al norte y a la cuenca de Arcachon al sur. La calma es lo que le espera en esta villa, rodeada de un gran jardín. Desde allí, tienes vistas al campo y estás a un tiro de piedra de las playas del océano.
