Crowell es una aldea y parroquia civil en Oxfordshire, aproximadamente a 4 millas al sureste de la ciudad comercial de Thame y a 1 milla al suroeste de la aldea de Chinnor. El Censo de 2001 registró la población de la parroquia como 100.
La aldea de Crowell es un asentamiento en una línea de manantial en la fuente de un arroyo llamado Pleck al pie del acantilado de los Chiltern Hills. El topónimo "Crowell" se deriva del inglés antiguo para "manantial del cuervo" o "arroyo del cuervo".
