Cheriton es una aldea y una parroquia civil cerca de Alresford en Hampshire, Inglaterra. El asentamiento es quizás más famoso por estar cerca del sitio de la Batalla de Cheriton de la Guerra Civil Inglesa de 1644. La fuente del río Itchen se encuentra en la parroquia vecina de Kilmeston. La aldea tiene dos secciones distintas: Cheriton y New Cheriton, que está al lado de la A272 a media milla de la aldea principal
