Sutton Hoo es un lugar situado en Suffolk en el que se encontraron en 1939 restos de un barco funerario del siglo VII, así como diversos utensilios.
El descubrimiento ha sido de extrema importancia para los historiadores de la Edad Media, ya que aportó información sobre ese periodo en Inglaterra, periodo que hasta el hallazgo estaba muy poco documentado. Es uno de los descubrimientos arqueológicos principales del Reino Unido por su antigüedad, su tamaño, su rareza y su importancia histórica.
