'Cambridge' Circus es un cruce de tráfico en el cruce de Shaftesbury Avenida y Charing Cross Carretera en Londres central.[1] El cruce está situado aproximadamente hasta la mitad entre Tottenham estación de tubo de Carretera de Tribunal y Leicester Plaza.
En sus novelas de espionaje, el escritorJohn Le Carré situo la sede ficticia del servicio de inteligencia británica el MI6 en los edificios situados Shaftesbury Avenida y Cambridge Circus; es de este que Le Carré apodo para la agencia, "El Circo", deriva.[1][2] Gordon de la BBC Corera nota que la entrada descrita por Le Carré más estrechamente se parece a que de 90 Charing Cross Carretera, justo al norte de Cambridge Circus.[3] El real MI6 ha negado que ocupara Cambridge Circus.[3][4]
