El Tabernáculo Metropolitano es una iglesia bautista reformada evangélica que tiene su sede en Londres, Reino Unido. El pastor principal de la iglesia es Dr Peter Masters.
La iglesia comenzó a reunirse en Londres en 1650 con el pastor William Rider. [1] En 1861, Charles Spurgeon se convirtió en pastor de la iglesia y en el mismo año abrió un nuevo edificio en Elephant and Castle, London, con un auditorio en 6000 lugares. [2] En 1881, la iglesia tenía 5500 miembros. [3] El edificio sufrió varios incendios y fue reconstruido en 1894, 1941 y 1959 con 1.750 asientos. [4] Durante el ministerio de Charles Spurgeon, la iglesia llegó a 14.000 miembros. [5]
