Snake Pass es un paso montañoso en la sección de Derbyshire del Parque Nacional de Peak District, cruzando los Pennines entre Glossop y el embalse de Ladybower en Ashopton. La carretera fue diseñada por Thomas Telford y se inauguró en 1821. El paso lleva la carretera A57 entre Manchester y Sheffield, pero ya no es la ruta principal señalizada entre estas dos ciudades, con el tráfico dirigido en su lugar a través del paso de Woodhead hacia el norte.
