Limerick Junction es la estación de tren de intercambio para trenes que provienen de las estaciones de Limerick, Dublin Heuston, Cork, Waterford, Tralee y Ennis. La estación fue inaugurada el 3 de julio de 1848.
La estación se destacó por su diseño, que antes de 1967 requería que cada tren que hiciera una parada en la estación realizara una reversa para hacerlo. Los últimos cambios en 2019, incluida la adición de una nueva plataforma isla, significan que solo los trenes hacia y desde la dirección de Waterford necesitan revertir antes y después de acceder a la estación.
