Arquà Petrarca [arˈkwa peˈtrarka] es una comuna de 1.868 habitantes,[3] de la provincia de Padua, en la base de los montes Piccolo y Ventolone, en las Colinas Euganeas.
Arquà deriva del latín Arquatum o Arquata, que durante la República de Venecia fue modificado a Arquada, y después a Arquà. En 1868, tras la adhesión del Reino Lombargo-Véneto a Italia se decide cambiar el nombre a Arquà Petrarca, en honor del poeta Francesco Petrarca que vivió allí los últimos años de su vida.
