El Fucino es una meseta de la Marsica, en la provincia de L'Aquila, situado entre los 650 y los 680 msnm, endorreico, esto es rodeado por relieves montañosos, como la Vallelonga y el grupo Sirente-Velino.
La llanura, con destino prevalente agrícola, alberga el Centro Spaziale del Fucino "Piero Fanti", el teleporto fundado en el año 1963 por el Telespazio Spa.
