La diócesis de Tívoli es una territorio eclesiástico católico ubicado en el Lacio, Italia, desde el siglo II. En 2002 se le añadió territorio desde la Abadía territorial de Subiaco. La diócesis depende directamente de la Santa Sede.[1]
Tívoli fue fuertemente fortificada por Belisario en la Guerra Gótica, pero fue casi destruida por Totila en el año 540. Después de la invasión lombarda fue tomada por los bizantinos y formó parte del patrimonio de San Pedro, con un conde en representación del emperador. En el año 916, el Papa Juan X obtuvo una victoria allí contra los sarracenos.
