Un ascenso bastante corto que representa sobre todo una interrupción muy incómoda del ritmo. Desde Bourscheid-Moulin subes inicialmente a través de un túnel fresco y luego recorres un kilómetro en serpentina hacia Lipperscheid. Desde la dirección de Unterschlinder, se avanza gradualmente a lo largo de un muro de piedra natural hasta una amplia curva, después de la cual se puede oler la cima, pero aún hay que esforzarse para lograr alcanzarla.
Hay la posibilidad de extender la subida hasta la cima del pueblo, donde se encuentra un gran hotel y una gran autopista. Sin embargo, esto no es el caso en la ruta Carrefour de Bourscheid.
