A relatively short ascent that is mostly a very unpleasant interruption of your rhythm. From Bourscheid-Moulin, you first climb through a fresh little tunnel before cycling about another kilometer straight towards Lipperscheid. Coming from the direction of Unterschlinder, you gradually ride along a natural stone wall upward to a spacious bend where you can smell the top, but still need to push a bit to actually reach it.
There is an option to extend the climb to the top of the village, where there is a large hotel and an important roadway. However, this is not done in the Carrefour de Bourscheid route.
