Esta excursión en bicicleta sale del D.F. por la ciclopista hacia Cuernavaca, se desvía hacia Tepoztlán, pasa por el centro de Cuernavaca, y continúa hasta su punto más sureño, el sitio arqueológico Xochicalco. De ahí regresa por Alpuyeca y Xochitepec hacia los conventos del siglo XVI en las faldas de la sierra volcánica, declarados Patrimonio Mundial del UNESCO. El regreso es por Xochimilco. Se recomienda hacer la excursión en 4 etapas, haciendo parada en resp. Amatlán, Cuernavaca, Alpuyeca y Coyocoyoc (o Cuautla).
