La Fundación Rijssens Leemspoor explota un ferrocarril museo en la ciudad de Rijssen, en Overijssel. El museo cuenta la historia del ferrocarril de vía estrecha en el ámbito de la industria de la piedra caliza en Rijssen y sus alrededores.
Hace un siglo, había en Rijssen alrededor de 15 fábricas de ladrillos, de las cuales, en la década de 1960, quedaban solo cuatro. Estas tenían desde principios del siglo XX hasta 1964 una línea de vía estrecha para transportar arcilla de la cantera a las fábricas. La primera vía estrecha de aproximadamente 4 kilómetros se puso en funcionamiento en 1907. Entre Rijssen y Markelo se estableció finalmente una red de vía estrecha de aproximadamente 12 kilómetros de longitud.
